Product Description
The best deal you'll find in a great acoustic guitar, the Jasmine S35 features a Spruce top and Mahogany back & sides with a satin finish. Contemporary styling and time-tested construction methods produce an instrument that is built to last and, most importantly, sounds powerful and clean on all strings, from treble to bass. Chrome covered tuning machines and a rosewood fretboard are also featured.

5 out of 5 stars Solid Guitar   March 10, 2010
Adam Bolfik (Savannah, Ga)
I've been playing off and on for about 3 years now, more permanently as of recent. This guitar sounds absolutely amazing...especially if you buy some elixir strings. As some have said, the action is a little high compared to most guitars but in my opinion that is an excellent way to learn. because I've grown accustomed to pressing so hard to make the strings sound clear, every other guitar is almost too easy to play. All in all, this is a great guitar whether you are just starting out or if you want another great sounding well-made guitar.

4 out of 5 stars Great Acoustic   March 3, 2010
Curtis M. Jackson (San Diego, CA)
I love this guitar! The neck does have a steel rod, which I wasn't sure about when purchasing. The strings are easy to change and the sound is good, other than the occasional rattle on the strings (But maybe that's me, ha!) Also, the surface isn't too glossy, and has a nice matt finish which works well. I think this is made very well and is very fun to play!

5 out of 5 stars acoustic guitar   February 20, 2010

I love this guitar and got a great deal on it. I had been searching for quite a while for a good guitar at a low price and I am glad I found this one on Amazon. I am very happy with it.

5 out of 5 stars Great instrument, especially for $80   February 13, 2010
Thomas R. Putzel (Boston, MA)
I bought this about 9 years ago. I had a pretty sweet Washburn acoustic and my roomie had an Ovation as well. I'd say the sound quality is amazing, especially considering the double digit price. I was able to adjust the action down remarkably far, further than I originally anticipated, and I have not experienced any of the frequent tuning issues mentioned before. I would recommend this guitar to anyone of any ability. Even a pro should pick one up as a beater because, trust me, this thing can take some abuse!!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing for the price   February 6, 2010

It is not an exaggeration to say this guitar sounds like it cost $500 instead of $75,it is a vary worthy purchase for anyone.
Lots of people have said that the action is too high, but mine came adjusted properly. By adjusting the truss rod with the Allen wrench included, the action can be adjusted or it can be done by your local Luthier for vary cheap,if you're afraid of breaking The guitar. The guitar came vary well packaged from the manufacturer, lots of bells and whistles meant to protect the guitar that weren't included even with my more expensive guitars. The pick guard is slightly off and it bothers me but it doesn't change the sound or quality of the instrument and I can easily fix this. The tuners stay in tune while you're playing, but expect to it tune daily.I was gonna make this guitar into a acoustic electric, that was the reason I was gonna buy it. I can't bring myself to drill a hole into such a gorgeous guitar,I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. I guess I will be using my old guitar. Really worth the buy.
