Too big for a 5 year old June 11, 2010 NM (NJ USA) I was misled by other reviews that it would be perfect for a 5 year old. But I realized it is too big for a 5 year old. Though the item is good, I wouldn't suggest it for a 5 year old. Probably 8 years and up...
great for kids.. March 31, 2010 Mother of A & B (TX, USA) We were able to tune it and got it working in a day and with little coaching my 3 yr old starting "playing" it that very same day. She loves it, loves the color and loves having her own guitar. I wish they would have packed matching picks with it... but nonetheless, this is a great buy and perfect for your young child.
Great REAL starter guitar January 10, 2010 M. J. Duquette (New Jersey) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have played guitar for about 18 years and when my 5 year old daughter wanted to start playing I wanted a guitar for her which would stay in tune, be easy to play (low string action small neck radius) and be the right size. I looked around and came across this one. Read the reviews and agree with all the good things people had to say. This is a medium quality guitar. For the price point is a GREAT buy. Not just a toy from chain store. This thing works and I find myself jammin out on it prior to her taking her turn.
Not a bad little guitar December 29, 2009 T. Bumgarner Not a bad little guitar for the money. It is just the right size for my 9 year old daughter and it was inexpensive enough that if she ends up not really getting into it, it will be okay. The carry bag is pretty cheap, but what do you expect.
Luna Pink Faerie Guitar November 20, 2009 Joseph L. Lasarge (Effingham, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great entry level guitar. My neice had to have a pink guitar and the other ones I came across in my searches were merely toys and not actual instruments. I went to my local musc store to look at the pink Luna guitars they had in stock...I loved that the Faerie was smaller than most but was very "tuneable"...Of course Amazom had it for much less than the music store...sold!
