Product Description
It was almost 40 years ago when Ovation first rocked the acoustic guitar world with the Roundback body design. Today, that same design and many other technical advancements are available in the affordable Applause AA21-4 Summit Series guitar. With pro features like, pinless bridges, and detailed fretwork, the Summit Series outshines any other guitar in its class.

Customer Reviews:
1 out of 5 stars what a rip off   September 11, 2008

I bought this guitar based on the review and the name Ovation. I was very disappointed to find that I have again been misled by a company on this site selling its merchandise. The guitar is unable to be tuned because of a broken saddle and I do mean broken, it is not cracked it is broken beyond repair and must be completely replaced at a cost of which I cannot afford. I bought this guitar because of the reasonable price which should have told me that there was soomething wrong with it. If this company is selling on Amazon they should at least say that the items that they sell may come with some damage, so buyer beware. The strings are very worn and shows signs of damage themselves. This is the 2nd company through Amazon that I have purchased a guitar and been ripped off. I purchased this one after the first one last month to learn to play guitar on with a decent instrument and again another big disappointment. I will not be doing business with this company again and I will not recommend it to anyone buying through Amazon.com. They like me would do better purchasing instruments from your local musical store, even Wal-mart would be better than buying instruments from this company or any company over Amazon.com This is the 2nd review I have written for this company, Amazon removed the first and the other reviews for the violin I purchased Amazon removed those as well. So at least now you know who Amazon supports, and it is not the customer. At least I tried to warn others. I will never purchase another musical instrument from any company via Amazon.com from now own it is the local musical store for me or Wal-mart at least Wal-mart stands by its products.

5 out of 5 stars The Applause would be a wonderful guitar at twice the price   February 14, 2008

This is a great guitar. I bought one for my girlfriend, as she had an Applause when she was a kid and thought it was the greatest thing since steel strings. It has to be one of the easiest acoustics to play (slim neck, easy action), and the sound is very nice. Quality and finish are unbelievably good for a guitar of this price. It even stays in tune. I enjoy playing the Applause as much as my Yamaha that cost more than twice as much.
