Product Description The Dean Playmate JT 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar features a steel string acoustic design, traditional set neck, and chrome hardware. Highlights include Dean's signature bridge, 18 frets, and a bright pink sunburst finish. The smaller size makes this guitar ideal for beginner students and children who want to learn to play guitar. The reduced neck size makes it much easier for smaller hands to navigate the fretboard while learning the basics. Also makes a great gift!

pretty and not bad for the money, but the bag is terrible! April 8, 2010 Jenn (Sacramento, CA) The guitar is decent for the money and my daughter loves it. It doesn't seem to stay in tune well, though and I'm told it's only a step up from a toy. The gig bag is worthless. I don't understand why it opens at the bottom. Seems impossible to put in take out without messing up the tuning. The strap hangs at an awkward angle and so the handles. We've given up on it. It has no padding or protection, so don't think this is a great deal because it includes a case.
Great for my daughter. March 19, 2010 Tamra Bishop (LEAVENWORTH, KS, US) This shipped very fast, and it was packed very well. It's perfect for someone just learning the basics, and the color says pink but it is mainly red I would say; but it is beautiful. The one problem is that we have to tune it a lot, but it's still great for a beginner, and the perfect gift from Santa...shhhh.
Nice guitar January 7, 2010 B. Griffin (Massachusetts) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very nice starter guitar. My 5 year old daughter loves to play it. It does not provide loops for straps and the cover/carrier it comes with has already broken. But the guitar itself is excellent.
Pink guitar December 11, 2009 K. Griffith This lovely ;ittle guitar was such a hit at my Grand-daughter's birthday party~It is not a toy, it has an excellent tone and is easy for her smaller hands to hold. Maybe we have a future "Taylor Swift" in the family!
Great first guitar! August 20, 2009 A. kirby-spanier We got this foe my daughter for her 8th birthday and she loves it! The color in my opinion is a little closer to red than pink in person, I took one star off for that. But still very cute none the less. And my brother-in-law who plays guitar even commented on the quality being great for her.
